SiteBahi Privacy Policy

Effective 29 August 2026. This policy explains how SiteBahi collects, uses, protects and deletes information in the web and Android applications.

Who operates SiteBahi

SiteBahi is the product and developer identified by this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to santosh.ray.dev@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect the phone number, display name, authentication identifier and site memberships needed to operate an account. Authorized users may add worker details, attendance, work descriptions, materials, quantities, rates, payments, approvals, notes, photos, audio and documents. The app also uses an installation identifier for secure synchronization. The website and web app use PostHog to measure traffic, product usage and reliability. PostHog may process page URLs, browser and device information, interaction events, and SiteBahi internal account, organization and site identifiers. SiteBahi does not send phone numbers, email addresses or construction-record contents as analytics properties. Session replays mask all visible text, form inputs and element attributes, and exclude network request headers and bodies. When diagnostics sharing is enabled, technical crash logs, stack traces, app version, device model and performance diagnostics may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics. SiteBahi does not intentionally add construction records, photos, audio or phone numbers to crash reports or analytics.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide role-based site records, synchronize offline work, prevent duplicate changes, produce exports, secure accounts, respond to support requests and improve app reliability. SiteBahi does not sell personal information and does not use it for third-party advertising.

Who can receive information

Site records are shared with authorized owners, contractors and supervisors according to their site membership and role. Firebase processes authentication and, when enabled, crash diagnostics. PostHog processes privacy-masked website and product analytics in its US Cloud environment. Hosting, database and storage providers process information only to operate SiteBahi. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Role-based visibility

Contractors, supervisors and building owners receive different access. Contractor-paid worker wages and private worker documents are not shown to owners unless the site agreement or payment responsibility permits it. Site administrators are responsible for inviting only authorized people and removing access when it is no longer needed.

Device permissions

Camera and photo access are used only when a user chooses to attach visual proof. Microphone access is used only when a user records a voice note. These permissions can be denied or changed in Android Settings; core text-based records remain available.

Offline records and security

Supported records may be saved on a device while the network is unavailable. SiteBahi uses encrypted transport, Android Keystore-backed secure storage, SQLCipher and an optional device PIN for protected offline records. No security system can guarantee absolute protection, so users should also protect their devices and credentials.

Retention and deletion

Account and site information is retained while needed to provide the service and maintain authorized construction records. A user may request deletion through the in-app Privacy & diagnostics section or the account-deletion page. Analytics records associated with a verified account can also be included in a deletion request. After identity verification, SiteBahi targets completion within 30 days. Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or an authorized site’s audit history; the requester will be told when an exception applies. Residual backup copies are removed through normal backup rotation.

Your choices

Web-app users can disable analytics or reset the analytics identity stored on their device from Account settings. Analytics never runs on localhost development sites. Users can also turn crash diagnostics off inside the Android app, revoke camera or microphone permissions, export permitted site records, leave sites through their administrator, and request account deletion. Disabling diagnostics also removes unsent crash reports from the device.

Children

SiteBahi is a construction operations product for adult property owners and construction professionals. It is not directed to children.
